The site of this year’s Expo, the Abbotsford Recreation Centre, is located at 2499 McMillan Road, Abbotsford, BC. The ARC sits on the corner of McMillan and Old Yale Road in Abbotsford – we encourage you to access the parking lot via McMillan Road. Parking is free!

Head West on Highway 1. Take Exit 92 (Sumas) and keep right as you exit off Highway 1. You will now be on Sumas Way. Continue approx 1 km to the lights at Marshall Road. (Me n Ed’s pizza and three gas stations are on this corner of Sumas Way and Marshall). Travel ½ kilometre – watch for McMillan Road on the left. Turn left on McMillan Road and travel approximately 1 kilometre. Abbotsford Curling Club will appear on your left hand side – the Abbotsford Recreation Centre is set back ½ block behind the Curling Club which shares the parking lot with the ARC. Turn left at the Curling Club to enter the parking lot.

Cross South on the Mission Bridge and continue travelling on Highway 11 toward Abbotsford. As you enter Abbotsford, you will see traffic continuing on Hwy 11 by turning left onto the Bypass. Don’t take this Bypass – stay to your left and continue on into Abbotsford. The Abbotsford-Mission Hwy now becomes Gladys Avenue. Turn left onto Essendene Avenue (your second light as you come into Abbotsford). Essendene will become Old Yale Road. After turning left at Essendene, travel up the hill and through a residential area. After cresting the hill, continue to drive down the hill and straight until you reach McMillan Road (about 2 kilometres after turning left onto Essendene). Turn right at McMillan Road – parking lot will appear immediately on your right hand side at the Abbotsford Curling Club, which shares the parking lot with the Abbotsford Recreation Centre (sitting directly behind the Curling Club).

Many restaurants are located a stone’s throw from the Abbotsford Recreation Centre. As well, the ARC has Joyful Time, a small eatery within the facility. Within a five minute walk, there is also a Subway, a pizzeria, a City Blends coffee shop and many restaurants within a 2 minute drive.
